Hello everyone,

The problem has been for more than two weeks now, and it is only in the firefox browser,
Here are some examples:

1. When I went to youtube I see the same image on many unrelated videos, example below,

I found that when I put the mouse over one of the images it returns to the original image of the video,

Another example is on eBay (look at the background):

It's quite annoying, so if anyone knows how to solve it, I'd very much appreciate it,

Many thanks
Rachel

Finally, what a relief,
The problem was solved in step 5, when I turn off hardware acceleration,
Thank you so much, you were very helpful,
:)

Oh, goody, it is only 20 April, and I have already done my good deed for the year 2015, and now I can go back to whatever it might be that I usually do....

Glad you found the fix; that is certainly the strangest hardware-acceleration problem I have ever read about There are a few truly brilliant "contributors" to mozillaZine who protest vehemently that all the people there do is tell those with problems to turn off hardware acceleration, a step that they know does nothing, and, therefore, the practice of telling people to do that must stop immediately.
