Firefox freezing

Hello all,

It is already few weeks when Firefox start freezing for about 5 seconds on my computer. In this case, Firefox does not react at all, even I can not cancel it by clicking on the X. This happens mostly when opening new website. In the same time when this occurs the rest of the programs are running just normal.

Anyone knows something about this?

hi anne could you try starting firefox with the add ons disabled to rule out an add on problem

in firefox click help then click restart with add ons disabled.
