I think I finally understand what you are asking. When you clink a link, you want it to open in a different tab, but it opens in the same tab. All you have to do is a middle click. Depending on what mouse you have, you either have to hold down both buttons (left&right) at the same time, or press the middle button/wheel down on the mouse.

Right click and choosing open in new tab will also work.

You look BrightSun, these are called tabs .... in a same window , but multiple pages open . Just click on one ... and you are on that page.



For adjusting tab settings, go to Tools > Options > tabs .... you can agjust your tabs' behavior by checking or unchecking options thereto .



If the first box is checked, a new link will be opened in a new tab , always, instead of in a new window .

Probably it will help you to understand how to manage tabs .

Yes ... of course you can !! As I can Just use the sittings there in my precious post .



One more thing .... but important ! If you want to poen a new tab manually, Click on File > New Tab (Ctrl+T) ; or click on the plus sign beside the last open tab, as shown in the pic below

Everybody uses addons as per his own needs . You also do so ... and is your tab opening problem solved ?

The add-on only adds a couple options which are found in other browsers. If the features, such as duplicating tabs and reopening closed tabs, seem important enough to you, you can try it.

No . The only addons I use are


Some of them are backdated though . I dont find them any important .... but that's my view
