The only thing preventing me from using Chrome is the text. I've tried fiddling with the font sizes and cleartype, is there any way to make the text look like Firefox, on Chrome Stable, Beta and Dev it looks weird and hard to read.

I checked that program out and it didn't help me with my problem. Is this really how Chrome renders text? Why haven't more people complained about it.

To be honest I like the way Chrome renders text as compared to other browsers. I think it's a matter of getting used to it maybe. I use Chrome most of the time. When I switch to say FF the text looks a bit ugly, but if I use it for the day I'm used to it, and don't mind it. Switching back and forth often makes my eyes really see the difference, so maybe stick with one for a while to see if you adjust to it. I actually only try other browsers when a new version comes out just to see what is new, but other than that I stick to Chrome as it has every extension I need. I don't even need IE anymore with IE Tab for Chrome.

Trying out the new Dev and it seems the text is actually better, did they do something? I've looked in the changelog, but I doubt "Fixed Text Rendering" would be listed.
