firewire file sharing..

ok so i'm a noob to windows 7..i use to run xp on both my machines one i use as a file server for down loading to and the other for gaming ect.. and i connected them with a firewire cable just for sharing back and forth.. now with 7 it does not show up in my network adapters and i don't really know where to look to get it working.....

IP networking over the IEEE 1394 bus is not supported in Windows Vista and in all later versions of Windows
