First BSOD after years of use (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)

I'm new to the forum so hello to all the members !
So to make things quick I got my first BSOD after years of use of my desktop, It happened while I was on youtube the video was loading then my entire pc froze and boom BSOD.

So I put the crash dump file ( there is only one to prove that my computer has been running like a clock all those years ) in Windbg , so here are the results ( i'll paste some of the essential infos of the minidump if you need to dl the dmp i'll post it on a file host ) :

This is what I got with the !analyze -v command , this is pointing to ntkrnlmp.exe which is Windows Kernel but I need help to go further into the investigation , I need to know if it is sofware or hardware related , I heavily suspect something is wrong either on the motherboard side or my system hard drive, I did a memtest (3 pass ) and found no errors on the memory side .

Got some corrupted bios several time on my Gigabyte z77x-up5 th , had to reflash with usb even with new cmos battery , and also suspect my system hard drive sometimes I boot my pc and I got the "insert system disk and press enter" despite my os already installed on my hdd , but this maybe caused by my motherboard.... who knows .

not a BSOD expert, but a couple of points

Is the F2 key on your comp how you enter the Bios set-up... if so suspect its your culprit

Hey Torchwood,

No, to enter the bios I have to press DEL at post, F9 for sys info, F12 for boot menu and END for q-flash.

Hi

from the MSinfo32 report, i can see that your Kaspersky AV was showing a problem, not guarenteeing its the problem,
you could uninstall/re-install see if the problem re-occours

(use Bitdefender on my W7 rig)

Notes
You also appear to use various media type programmes, suggest you RE-enable Windows media player
Not sure what your doing with Adobe but a part of it is also dissabled
Silverlight is dead and buried -- might as well remove it
Edge seems a little glitchy as your using FF, might be worth removing it

Yes I'm french, but I use english 80% of the time : welcome to the internet
And can you explain what kind of issue Kaspersky is showing ? I use the integrated vpn that comes with it does the issue comes from the AV or the VPN ? And I paid for 3 posts 1 year so cannot use anything else for the moment....unfortunately.
I use VLC it's easier for me , the adobe remain are surely from adobe reader as a .pdf file reader but I removed it a long time ago maybe some remaining traces of the program ?
And Silverlight & edge have been removed .

Edit : Thanks for all your help but this still does not tell me what caused the bsod , I had IRQL bsod in the past with another rig it was related to one failing ram stick , maybe I should give memtest more time just to be sure .

Report shows KSDE.exe as having a problem on the 4th Dec and 18th Nov
this exe is only related to the VPN, thats why i suggested uninstall/re-install
(not sure if they have a repair option)

Problem is very well known over net since 2011+

Is caused by buggy intel wifi drivers which triggers AntiVirus or Firewall reaction as something dangerous - hence BSOD to freeze system before something worse will happen. Unfortunately it is more like ticking bomb. Random time till BSOD. Sometimes 2-3 weeks of constant work but sometimes even 10 ties a day.
Even Avast team have had on their forum big explanations of how it is hard even for them to program anything in such buggy environment :/
And sick M$ attitude to keep whole code secret, so noone knows how to write patch/view code, while you have to comply to their idiotic ideology to keep programs in 5 different places all over HDD and system according to api and policy

BUT he's using an ethernet connection

NO WiFi card installed, thats why i ask for logs


As for system freezes, no BSOD, they tend to be caused by memory leaks

torchwood you may be more right than you suspect, because it so happens that few months ago I have noticed 2-6GB RAM not being cleared even if everything is closed. I tried to use RamMap, but it does not does anything to free locked mem. I see constant grow of 1mb per 1-2s during work of Firefox or any game on new Unity Engine. RAM usage grows until reaches max and crashes entire system (because I do not have pagefile - through respect to ssd )

Hey guys ,

A little update so my ram came clean after hours of test no errors or ecc errors have been found so I can safely say that my ram is 100% clean.
And after Memtest, got the "insert disk system and press enter " 4 times , until I completly turned off the psu , rebooted again and it was fine , I have to test my hard drive with WinDlg ( Western Digital tool ) to see if there is something wrong on the hard drive side , all the smart value looks clean , no reallocated sector count ( bad sectors ) but there could be some mechanical wear , it's a 10K rpm hard drive that is 10+ years old running 24/7 , if the hard drive come clean after the test I'll be short of ideas guy or I'll need someone that can go deeper with the debug file with advanced command.
