I just got my first BSOD this morning when I woke up my machine. Any ideas as to the cause?

This was caused by an internal power error. could have been as simple as a voltage drop from the power company. Probably a one off

I am sorry that you are having problems Jonathan, but glad that Ken was able to help.

In addition to what he has told you, may I suggest that you invest in a good surge

protector or an UPS. You were lucky this time power surges can do more to your

computer than just cause temporary inconvenineces. In any event I hope that you will

be up and running soon, because I and the entire membership would miss your i
