Hello all, it's my first time on this forum. I came here after a friend directed me to this website looking for help with a game problem. I recently purchest Airport Tycoon 3(Global Star Software) from Amazon. The game came I installed it on my Windows 7 laptop. Ran fine for a few minutes but after half way into building an airport the game crashes and says AT3.exe has stopped working. Also I can't even install the latest patch either. I just get this error saying failed to complete install. My OS is a 64bit system. I've look all over the net for a solution but results came to 0. I know this is an old game which came out in 2003 but I enjoy tycoon game a lot new and old. I would be very grateful if someone can help me. Only had the game today and I can't even play it properly.:(

Welcome to the forums.

I see that occasionally with old games, it's kind of an occupational hazard for gamers on x64 :/ Have you tried selecting compatibility options for the game's executable? Open the game's folder and find the game's exe file, right click on it, and select the compatibility tab. It's fine to experiment with the settings in there. Game in 2003, try XP SP2.

Try that on the patch first, just in case it gets to install.

Yeah I tried that it starts up and I do get the menu but only 3 options are grayed out
Run Game - Grayed Out Unclickable
Install - Grayed Out Unclickable
Install Directx9.0 - Grayed Out Unclickable
Quit - Clickable

I've tried all different versions of Windows but it won't allow me to install it. Also it's reporting that there's incompatibility issue
