I just managed to fix a problem, where my pc would fade to black after windows logo after any type of gpu driver install, by updating the bios.
Everything seemed fine for a few days but now I'm getting bsod's a few times a day, not exactly sure why but it does seem to happen more when I have multiple things open, but playing all sorts of games is yet to have caused a bsod.

Any help would be awesome as I'm a bit out of my depth when it comes to this.

Thanks :)

Try installing a newer or an older version of your video driver (the one for your video card).

Tried a previous gpu driver, bsoded whilst trying to both update Overwatch and download BF1. I feel like it has something to do with the hdd being written too, the hdd is a Western Digital Black WD2003FZEX 2TB and is only a year old.

Sorry, didn't realise the dump files didn't get added.

Thanks again for the interest in helping :)

Please don't bump your thread, I am notified about thread updates (except when you edit posts), but couldn't respond as I was gone for a few days.

Please remove Norton temporary and use Microsoft Security Essentials as alternative.

 RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

   Note
attachment.php

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.
