Hi folks.
I ran RC7100 64bit with FireFox 32bit. It ran fine. Installed Home Premium 64bit, installed FireFox again and it ran once, then said could not find Internet, and I have ADSL. Only IE 64bit would find net. No 32bit web browser would work-I tried them all. So now am stuck with either IE 64bit or Namoroka which is FireFox 64bit, which also works.
Cannot watch any video, even news clips from TV stations, cause of non working Flash and Java.
Question: could firewall be preventing Flash or Java download, or is it simply poor written drivers?
I now wait for Adobe to get off their arses, same as I waited for Canon.

That's an interesting switch from what I saw with the old dsl setip here before changing ISPs and still needing to replace the new ISP's modem with my own to see 64bit support! Typically the flavor of the OS and drivers will determine if you get online not the browser itself.

Try different Network & Sharing settings and set the connection to Home not Work or Public. Generally that seems to connect right away when first putting on a clean copy of Windows. Also check under "Network Adapters" in the device manager to see what you see there.

The default browser in 7 is the 32bit IE. You actually have to browse the Program Files not Program Files(x86) folder to the Internet Explorer sub folder there and create a new shortcut for the iexplorer.exe file to run the 64bit version.

The Adobe TechNote page explaining this and also pointing out the upcoming Flash Player 10.1 is seen at Flash Player support on 64-bit operating systems

The prerelease of 10.1 however is available at Adobe Labs - Downloads: Flash Player 10.1 Note the warning notice seen there first.

Important: All users should uninstall any currently installed Flash Player before installing the latest prerelease.

That's not entirely true as Windows puts the 64 bit in the program menu under the start bar by default. It lists both versions.

That was Adobe's doing there! :D Another drawback while the 10.1 beta is now available for download is it being for the x86 platform only at this time. Adobe Labs - Downloads: Flash Player 10.1

They do have a 64bit 10 version for Linux but not for Windows quite yet seen at Adobe Labs - Flash Player 10 for 64-bit Linux
