well, it is not working still, problem came back.
The only reliable fix is to save the web address, close then reopen chrome to play the Amazon video.

The plugin says a different message 'not responding' vs crashed.

ALSO, I tried Firefox and it just says loading forever.

I find out if you disable pepper flash, it is renabled when chrome restarts!

So this time I disabled adobe flash and when restarted, adobe flash is staying disabled.

That does not fix it either, i watched a section of video, then clicked a new title and flash crashed.

Try using the official Adobe Flash uninstaller to remove Adobe Flash from all browsers on your computer. Important to follow all steps exactly.

Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

Then reinstall latest Flash version and plug-ins for all browsers installed on your computer. Remember to uncheck any unwanted browsers, toolbars, etc that may be offered as part of the download.

Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player

Ok, I will try. Also discovered that I cant view youtube either on chrome or firefox.

Firefox simply says an error has occured, try again later.

It's possible that the reboot fixed things. Or perhaps the latest version of Firefox fixed a bug. Hard to know for sure. Tracking cookies are harmless text files that certain web sites will place onto the hard drive of your computer. Your browser will then load the information into memory while you are visiting the web site. Let's say the web site is a clothing store. The cookie may remember your shirt size, color preferences, etc so navigating the web site is faster. No harm if you delete tracking cookies. Just means the next time you visit one of your favorite web sites it will have to gather your preferences again.

On the down side, that clothing store may share your info with other web sites and as you browse the internet you may find that certain advertisements keep following you. This is a marketing technique where web sites using the same advertising company share customer info with one another. So clearing out cookies periodically may be a good thing.

Why do these ads keep following me around the internet?
