Flash lags in fullscreen

I've done a bit of research through forums but to no avail. Here's the problem:

I used to be running XP 32bit and everything worked fine until I did a clean install of Win 7 x64. I have no problem watching flash videos on browsers (eg. youtube, footytube) but whenever I watched them on fullscreen, the video and sound becomes laggy. Yesterday, I found out another problem when I watched youtube (not fullscreen). When I scrolled up/down the browser window, the video/sound was choppy (or jerky, whatever the correct term is).

I have tried all the suggestions which I have come across so far:
- updating latest video/sound drivers
- reinstalling/updating flash player
- updating DirectX
- installing windows 7 codec
- disable hardware acceleration

Here are my PC Specs:
- motherboard: Asus P5KPL/1600
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz
- memory: 4GB
- graphics: ASUS NVIDIA EN9400GT
- sound: onboard
- monitor: Samsung T220

This is the first time I am posting to a forum as I can't find a viable solution. Therefore, please bear with me if my problem description is not complete.

P.S. I am thinking of installing Windows 7 32-bit. Wonder if this may solve the problem

Sounds like it might be your internet speed, do a test by clicking here and post the result on this thread. There is a link to Forum on the test site.

Also, as you're running x64 do you run Internet Explorer (64 bit)? The flash player for 64bit is still experimental and can cause some issues. Try using normal IE to see if that resolves the issue.

done the speedtest: an average 8 Mbps. so I don't think that's an issue.
tried using the normal IE as well. I've tested on Chrome too. same problem

OK so post a link to one of the You Tube videos in question and we can look at that. I will reduce my speed to about 6mb ans see what happens.

This is one with problem:

Somehow, this played in fullscreen without problem:

OK The first one is in high definition and needs a fast speed to stream properly. Try playing it at 480 or 360
The second one is standard definition so doesn't need the same fast speed to stream OK. You might have You Tube configured to play at the best resolution your system can take. This is normally OK but if you are online when everybody else is then your speed may drop a little causing this problem. Try the high definition video in the early hours of the morning and it might play OK.

Thank you for your willingness to help but it seems that my youtube is configured at 360 by default. To be honest, I doubt the internet speed is the reason. I played the video only when it is loaded completely. As mentioned in my first post, when I scrolled the browser window (youtube) up and down, the sound became choppy. I'm thinking of a sound incompatibility issue but I don't know what exactly.

i've finally found the cause of the problem. it's my screen resolution. i did not encounter any lag issue when i set my screen resolution to 800x600. that's as far as i've got. i can't be running on 800x600 with my 22" monitor all the time. anyone has any idea to fix it?
