An advance sorry if I am in the wrong area.

I have Windows 7 professional and I am using Internet Explorer 8. I just updated with the new Flash Player, but when I go and check to make sure it was installed under the Tools, Manage Add-ons, it does not show up.

I went to my other system which is identical in hardware and it shows up on the list in I.E.8.

Is there some setting in I.E. I have to turn on for it to register? Or is there some corruption going on and I have to do some sort of maintenance?
