Flip 2d - 2 versions?

It seems that there are 2 different versions of the flip 2d out there. I found one here:

The other one is basically an updated version of the XP one, except instead of just icons, it displays thumbnails of the open programs. That's the one I have on my screen. It's ok, but is there a way I can use the other one (it's basically the same, but full screen). If that description is not clear, I can upload a screen shot.

And I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium with a good video card (I can get the 3d behavior.

Also, I've read about getting a shortcut to flip 3d, but how does one do that for the 2d flip? I don't really find the 3d version very useful.

Hello buggaby,

Welcome to Seven Forums.

Don't know about a desktop shortcut for that, but Alt+Tab will bring up the thumbs of all open windows. While holding Alt, repeatedly hitting Tab will cycle through the thumbs and bring each up on the screen.

Brink, thanks for that. I downloaded it and it worked.

My first question is still not answered, though. I'll upload both examples I have for flip2d.

As you can see, the thumbnails in the first example are smaller than in the second. Does anyone know why this difference exists? I prefer the other example because the thumbnails are larger.

Sorry about that Buggaby.

The first one is the default one included in Windows.

The second one is from a 3rd party program like Switcher, or included OEM program with a OEM system. I do not know

Yup, switcher worked well. It's a little different from the example I showed, but it's much better, I think, than the standard version. Thanks, Brink.

Is there a trick aswell in the registry to limits numbers of open windows? Most like in some flip3D tutorials.
