I have a small question, is there any information as to how to increase the size of the preview images on this screenshot?

There's a "Registry Hack" to tweak and increase the thumbnails size in taskbar, but i dunnot know if it can be done in the middle of the screen...
Maybe have a look in the tutorials forums...I did asked once but it had never be really answered so i think, no.

Despite the name it is compatible with win7 (and XP) and is free

well Barman58, thanks for this program, but there is sometning else. I have a microsoft mouse, it has an extra button and I assigned FLIP function to that. I'll try this program to see it works in this scenario.

Let me know how it works as I have a mouse and Keyboard that I can assign Flip to.

The program should be compatible as the mouse button should be producing the command for Alt-Tab at the lowest driver/kernel layer and the software will see either the actual Key-press or the mouse's emulation of it as the same.

well here is the outcome;

unfortunately it does not work like it should. when I press the extra button on my mouse it activates its previews window, only not all the time. since it works like the Alt+TAB, at times it will just switch to the last active window, without ever showing the previews window.

I'm trying to see if I can sort it out via the preferences, but seems unlikely.
