Would like some opinions on the accuracy and reliability of both styles of flow meter. I'm installing a Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 PRO USB fan controller and have the option of using either type of flow meter. Some user have reported occasional noise from the mechanical (impeller) flow meters, and I'm going for a dead quiet system on this build. The pressure differential meters are quiet but you need to calibrate them, the pressure diff meter is reported to be less restrictive.
To me the flow meter once all the air is purged would still be very quiet and you could even do a wrap with neoprene or the like.
