Hi everybody, I have a small problem. I used to have a icon in my taskbar that opened a specific folder on my computer, when I clicked the icon the folder would open in a window next to the icon (I hope you understand what I mean).

The problem now is that I accidentally deleted the icon and when I try to pin the folder it opens in the same icon. Does anyone know how to get it back to the way it was?

Welcome to Seven Forums, friend! :D

Ah, yes, this kind of stuff has happened to me a lot. Currently, I do not have an answer off the top of my head, but I will definitely take a look at it as soon as I get home (in a few hours). Hopefully I'm not too late to help.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I got it working :)

I had to create a fake exe file, then pin it to the taskbar. After that I renamed and changed the destination and it worked.

Ahh ok. I'm glad it worked out! I will remember that method for the next time it happens to me. :)

Just don't delete the fake file that you create, otherwise the link will automatically go back to explorer :)
