Folder not refreshing automatically

Hello folks !

For me I noticed that the issue with the folder not refreshing automatically occurs only when Windows Explorer is set up for display in "List view". By default, I believe, it is showing "Detailed view".
This confirmation came when I made a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 from scratch, and the only think I changed was "List view" in Windows Explorer.

Mine is Detailed view and they still don't refresh. Ex, when downloading to the Desktop the new file won't show until I refresh it.

Microsoft has replied to me that this behaviour is by design, it is how Windows Explorer should act in "List view". Unlike "List view" ,they said that "Detailed view" is updating automatically because of the attributes it must show: date modified, date created, type, size.

I think they meant to say "We don't know". I have Detailed view but no refresh after an hour or so uptime.
