Folder Synchronization

hi, i would like to know
if there is an option in win 7 to synchronize folders.

what i mean, if i have for instance a laptop and a desktop,
on both of them i have a music or photos folder and i add files randomly
once on the laptop and once on the desktop.

is there a way to synchronize it? to make the folders same?

this sounds like a job for synctoy, or there's the new live mesh, but i don't know much about it.

both products are from microsoft, and cost no money.
