Folders/Programs don't highlight anymore?

I recently installed a certain theme, and it messed up my computer. HOWEVER, I got absolutely everything back to normal except when I hover my mouse over a folder it doesn't have that highlighting effect anymore. Can someone tell me how to re-enable this? Thank you very much.

Hi,

You may want to try this...

1, Click Start, then right-click 'Computer' and select 'Properties'
2, Click 'Advanced system settings' in the left panel
3, Click 'Settings' under the Performance section
4, Click 'Adjust for best appearance



Click OK thru all the screens and see if that helps

Unfortunately that didn't work, and everything is checked.
