Font problems

I upgraded my US Vista to a Chinese version of Windows 7 Home Premium, and had the language changed to English via Vistalator. But it left me with some interface font problems.

With certain applications, the font that's usually (Tahoma?) in Vista is changed to the font as shown on the left. The language bar seems to have an apparent font change too.

Certain websites seem to display this font too, mainly in text boxes and buttons.

I tried to change everything in FontSubstitutes registry entry to SegoeUI, didn't help. Any ways around this? Thanks!

To add, I've gone through the "Window Color and Appearance" window, and all the fonts displayed are SegoeUI.

Hi, I have a similar problem but my segoe ui font is gone i just cant find it in fonts folder. All windows fonts changed to other. I tried to download segoe ui font and after log off it happened again.
