So I downloaded some fonts, just slapped em all in the fonts folder. Afterwards, some fonts on webpages were changed. It was not good. Only problem was I couldn't determine which were default fonts and which were the ones I installed because there were so many. So I just did 'select all' and deleted. Now luckily, the weird new fonts are gone but now theres a new issue.

Some fonts have changed on websites (but are now at least readable fonts and not weird fonts....) And stuff looks like it's in bold.

Basically, I just want to go back to the default fonts.

I did a sfc /scannow but it didn't find anything.

Is there a package of windows 7 fonts I can DL? I really don't want to re-install windows 7?

HELP!

I can't do a system restore because I deactivated it (although I just reactived now due to this stupid ass error).

sfc /scannow didn't find anything, although I restarted and am redoing it now and maybe it will find something. although I doubt it.

Yes. Take for example this website:
http://www.surfline.com/surf-report/rincon-southern-california_4197/

I took a screenshot (well edited it) and look at it from your screen compared to mine. Unless you've edited in your browser / PC to show different fonts, just about 99% of CPU's will display the font YOU see.

But i see that font (now) whereas just a few hours ago, I was not.

Also, shit is in BOLD. like for gmail. everything is in bold. It's quite annoying. Even typing in this thing, to me it looks bold.

****.

Apart from Segoe UI being the default font another essential for correct display is micross.ttf or Microsoft Sans Serif

I concur with Shaunie,
If you have any files you want to keep - back them up. If you don't have a removable media - you may want to use an online service file storage (eg. Mobileme, Windows Live, etc..)
