I'm playing mine through steam and have no problems what so ever with it, if you have steam you can activate it on there by using the key that came with your disc.

i don't no about on rc but i got FM09 running on build 7000. Copied over my system files from vista because by install it didnt work ran the .exe and it worked just fine.
