Forced Shutdown when no program running

I have a problem that every time I shut my computer down, a screen pops up that says there is a program running and it is being forced to shut down. The problem is there is NO program running when I shut down. What do I need to do? Thanks

Just wait it out. I'm sure it's not showing that for more than a dozen seconds tops, right?

I get that often as well and attribute it to background processes from one of the dozen or so programs I run each day.

Hello and Welcome !

Sometime it need to shutdown some Windows Host services i guess that could be the reason it gives you that prompt. I used to get that prompt sometimes. Nothing to worry i guess you could ignore it.

click the start menu, then type view reliability history. On the bottom left is an option to save the reports.. upload and post it if you can't figure it out
