Hello

I have an Admin password, but I have forgotten it and I can't run any set ups for new programs to fix the problem. Also, I can't move any files to a USB flashdrive or move anything to a black CD. The only thing I do have is a standard user with some restrictions. I don't know what I could do, anyone have any solutions?

If you have access to a working PC then you could try EDITED I've never used it so I can't give any other info on it sorry.

DANGER WILL ROBINSON!
If password is reset on users that have EFS encrypted files, and the system is XP or newer, all encrypted files for that user will be UNREADABLE! and cannot be recovered unless you remember the old password again

I would be cautious when linking to sites such as the above. I would classify the linked utility as a tool that can be easily abused IMHO.

6) No discussions of hacking someones system, network, password, etc.
Did you create a password reset disk using the provided utility in Windows 7? That is the only suggestion i can give that falls in line with the forum rules.

Try 'System Restore' if it fails, a reinstall will help.
