Forgot Administrator Password

My administrator password seems to have either dropped down a rabbit hole, or I've forgotten it. I use it to logon to my pc for everything ,I know I should have two accounts, one user and one administrator. If I ever get back into my pc I'm definitely going to paint the administrator password on the wall in front of me. All the Windows 7 tutorials that I'm seen so far have to do with finding/restoring/resetting a "user" password, not the administrator. So does anyone out there have a fix that will allow me to get to my desktop?
