guys hello and good morning.
i've gone and done a dumb-ass thing of formatting my data drive in error, it turns out I didn't back it up either .... now yes, I know very stupid of me etc etc, I've been traumatised enough already lol ...

Can someone please suggest a free unformat tool* - I've searched google but unless I am clouded by the shock of data loss, I can't seem to find anything suitable ... besides, I am sure at one point one of you has done the same thing and may have a good recommendation of software they used?

Cheers all!

*the drive was and is formatted to NTFS so ideally need a tool that runs in Windows XP or 7 thank you.
