In my laptop existing OS is Win7 Home Premium x64.

Hardware config is
HP i7 Quad processor 1.7 GHz.
4 GB DDR3 Ram,
500 GB HDD.

My system perf is slow. I installed few softwares. I have deselected most of the startup services and programs from msconfig. Eventhough my system bootup time is slow, and whenever i open mycomputer it taking time to load.

I have decided to install Win7 Enterprise Edition x64 by formatting my C drive. But there is no option while i do clean install. Please help.

Hello ragavendrang.

I would suggest that after you have copied out or made back-ups of the data you need to save to external media you use Step One of this tutorial at the link below to do a wipe (secure erase) to the entire Hard Disk Drive, running this then using the outline in Step Two #2 to create and format a single 100GB partition using diskpart will get you a clean all and a chkdsk /r for the best possible space to install Windows to.

After you have made backups of everything you care to save and you want to do a real wipe "clean all" to the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) have a look at this tutorial at the link below, it over-writes everything, all the old Windows code including all the old Windows drivers, giving you the best possible space to install Windows 7 to; it goes hand-in-hand with a clean install.

Where did you buy your copy of Windows 7 Enterprise Edition x64 from?

Switching from home premium to Enterprise will not make your computer run faster. A core i7 should run like a hound but I guess HP bloatware makes sure it doesnt. I would suggest to start with, uninstall all HP crap, defrag the hard drive and run CCleaner (both regular and registry once).

If its still slow, do a clean install of the same edition i.e. home premium and activate using the COA sticker key.
