Forum themes?

Anyone else using the alternate themes for this site, because I seem to only see the default in posted screenshots and what not.

I'm using the black theme works well for me.

Hm, I'm not entirely sure how to change the theme. So, that would most likely explain why I use the default theme.

click userCP at the top tool bar and scroll all the way down to the bottom there's a little dropbox on the left.

edit: my bad the quick link appears on just about every forum page.

and I'm sure most are fine with it, I have a darker theme on my browser and in windows so it actually fits my overall scheme better to go with the SF Black.

Plus I guess it's a fallback from my childhood years with monochrome I still prefer bright text on a dark background.

I use the ---- SF Blue Wide theme as I like to make the most of my screen estate.

Unlike many other forums, where you have a very restrictive choice of skins (if any at all), John (z3r010) has made a great effort on his Forums to provide a number of skins to suit people's needs. It is not compulsive to use a particular one, as each user is free to pick and choose any of the skins which s/he finds most comfortable to use. If, however, you find a problem on one or more of the skins (missing functionallity), please let him know.

I've played with most of them at this point and everything does seem to function the same regardless of the 'skin' in use.

Magus I have tried using other themes, but I always come back to SF Default.

Mine happens to be the default, I like the contrast between the various page elements,

One thing that I have noticed is I hesitated to switch back to default after I used the three black themes; black, black wide, and pitch black.
I have a visual difficulty (contrast) with black themes, but there is a softness to these three.

That is probably the reason I do not like the beta black bar that google is trying out now on their search pages.

If you like default, choose SF Default (CDN), it's said to be faster. A Guy

P.S. (CDN) does NOT mean Canadian

I wondered about that A Guy, It also seems crisper. I am using it now.
