Fraps size limit

I've been recording games regularly with Fraps since Windows 7 installation. But a while ago Fraps started cutting large sized videos into 4gb segments. After a bit of googling it seems the file system(FAT32) is the culprit. What I do not understand, though, is that my videos are usually almost equal in length, fps, and resolution. Why then is this happening out of nowhere?

Oh, and I just checked the hard drive type and it's NTFS. I can't find another possible cause.

Fraps limits the files it generates to 4gb in order to maintain compatibility with all video editing software.
