Free Anti-Virus software?

My AVG was having problem's and I can't get it to work. I uninstalled.

Is there one that is free and works good for Windows 7?

Or is there something I can do too fix my old one? (if I were to re-download)

Which build are u running. I am on RC and have installed AVG without any issues. Have u tried a uninstall reboot clean registry reboot and new install

Was just reading about cccleaner on 7 looks like to be doing a good job at it!

been running hassle free avast from 7022 to rc np

Now running Win-7 Ultimate 64 (RC1) and I find that AVG 8.5 FREE and 8.5 Pro both work well.

For the very small price, AVG 8.5 Pro is a better deal. It has far greater capability than the FREE version.

I run AVG 8.5 Pro on my main PC (this one) and install the FREE version on all my other PC's and for all my customers.
