My catch today is the free "File Renamer Basic" by Sherrod Computers - an elegant and easy to use batch file renamer.
Download it from
here and try if you need one. I needed one to rename a large collection of .vob files to .mpg files.
I am very much impressed with it. Here goes a screenshot.

I use File Renamer Deluxe cause I bought the program from Sherrod Computers and love it, its easy to use has every option you would ever need and has a nice gui.
