I've been using this file manager for quite a while, and never saw it act this way before. Last night, I was renaming and sorting some videos, and quite suddenly, the little window that normally opens for that purpose didn't. I found that sometimes when I clicked to close the program from the Taskbar, that the window would then open, instead of closing the file manager. other times, left clicking the Taskbar icon would cause it to open, and on a few occassions, it would open normally.
Restarting the file manager had no effect, so I was considering reinstalling it...and still may, but a little bit ago, something more happened that I found quite odd. When I selected rename from the context menu, it opened a large blue window that I have never seen before, which was apparently for renaming multiple files. I do not believe that this file manager has that ability, so it must be some kind of crossed wires with some other program. However, I have no idea of which, because the only multiple rename program that I have is the Bulk Rename Utility, and it doesn't look anything like the window that I saw.
I know that I should have examined it closer, but I was in the middle of my videos, and I closed it out of flustration before thinking about it, and now I have no idea of how to open it, for there is no option for that on context menu.
I really don't know what question to ask, because it makes no sense to me...does it to anyone else?
