Free Disk Repair Program

I have a few errors on one of my Hard Drives that I would like to fix I have run the built in error repair program in Win 7 but still have these errors, I was wondering if there was a specific program that is free that will correct this at all. If so can anybody point me in the right direction ???

The only program I know of which really goes beyond running chkdsk on booting, from a command prompt, would be Spinrite - however it's not freeware.

Check the disk manufacturer's website. I see you have Hitachi, I know they have their own special tool. So does Western Digital, and probably many others.
