Instead of using the unofficial X64 build for Firefox, you may want to mention Waterfox which is the x64 variant of Firefox running on the same source code of Firefox.

I don't see this on the list: r2 Studios - Startup Delayer

"Startup Delayer gives you the power to optimize your Startup Process by delaying applications from starting up as soon as you log into your computer."

I had a problem with an older program starting up at boot and found the above. I've been using it for about a month now, works great.

I don't believe Startup Delayer is a native x64 program. In fact, I believe it's not even 100% x64 compatible? A Guy

I don't believe Startup Delayer is a native x64 program. In fact, I believe it's not even 100% x64 compatible? A Guy

According to the site r2 Studios - Startup Delayer it states:"Compatible with: XP / Vista / 2003 / 7 - 32bit and 64bit"

It installs on my windows 7 x64 to "Program Files". There is no entry under "C:\Program Files (x86)". Therefore, I assume it is x64, but perhaps not. If in fact it is not native x64 then I hope a moderator will remove my post.

Thanks

I stand corrected, my bad. I haven't used it since XP (SSD, who needs delay, lol). But I looked around and didn't see any sign of it being x64 native. But you are right, I apologize. A Guy

:( I hate to tell you this but just because it installs in "Program Files" does not mean it is 64 bit. I have found some 32 bit software that installs in "Program Files". Windows 7 for what ever reason did not re-direct it to "Program Files (x86)".

You need to check the task manager to be sure, if you see a *32 next to the process then it is 32 bit no matter where it was installed. :D -WS

It's shown as "Startup Delayer.exe" in Task Manager, no *32.

In any event, I like the program as it resolved an issue for me.

It should be noted that Putty x64 is not an official Putty release (which is only available in x86 version as the developer decision).

It's really a third party unofficial fork of the code migrated to x64, and while it works great it should be noted in case of any problems.
