Since I had a problem with an older dual monitor PCI-e card and switched to a Matrox Dualhead2Go external monitor splitter to attach to my onboard Nvidia GeForce 7025/ Nvidia nForce 630e port, none of these three functions in my Windows 7 SP1 64 bit system (8 GB RAM, Quad core AMD Phenom II 820 x4 processor) works properly.

I've sent a question re this to Matrox tech support, but no response yet.

FreeCell comes up but the game window is blank. Sounds indicate that is is in a game, but I only see a blank white window where the game should be.

Windows Experience update fails with the video tests. After the Direct3D test seems to finish, it comes up with "The Windows Experience Index for your system could not be computed. Could not measure video playback performance.

Windows Media Player sometimes comes up saying that it can't understand .wmv files anymore.. other times it says there is insufficient memory to play the file.

I've tried disabling games and WMP in the control panel Windows Features menus, rebooting, then re-enabling and booting again... without any change to this situation. Other media players I've downloaded seem to work fine. Only WMP has a problem.

Hello. I've found your other thread about when you first set up these cards. Has this been happening constantly since back then in 2009?

Freecell, WMP, Performance Index issue

Nope... maybe it is just a Windows 7 thing. I don't think I was on Windows 7 then. Anyway, I got an ASUS EAH5450 dual monitor PCI-e card to replace the matrox box and now everything is working perfectly again. It must have been some issue with the Matrox box drivers and Windows 7
