Solved Freeze + buzzing sound during Netflix and games, inconsistant.

To my knowledge none, but a while ago I did try several utilities that claimed to repair drivers, something might have occurred then.
Yep, they are a common cause of problems.

Check the hardware as suggested by bugmeister - if it comes up clean, we can pursue the driver side.

I opened up my computer and checked the connections, there was no signs of burns and all the connections seemed tight. I dusted it our while I was in there, and also stopped using my gaming mouse, since this problem started about a month after I got it. For the last few days I have not had any freezes or BSODS, so far so good. If this continues, I'll try plugging the mouse back in and see if the crashes start again.

Is it a Razor by any chance?

Thanks for the tip @Golden, I have been using a regular mouse for almost a week and have not had any crashes. I Googled "razer computer freeze" and found other threads where people are having the same problem. It seems to occur on Windows 7(?) with the Razer Synapse 2.0 software, if a custom button click macro is used (which I had created around the time this problem started). I had already deleted the macro months ago, so there is nothing obvious I can do now, since I already had Razer Synapse updated to the latest version, and Razer does not seem to have device drivers or firmware updates for my model (Naga 2014). I have sent an email to Razer customer support and will update this thread when I learn more.

Those Razors cause a lot of BSOD's - I've dealt with several here - and I never found a solution to the issue, unfortunately.

I was able to solve this problem by uninstalling Razer Synapse 2.0 and re-installing it, and not using any more click macros. I also later received this response from Razer support:

"You may need to update your .net framework to fix this. Please follow the guide below:

1. Uninstall Synapse 2.0 from your computer and restart when prompted. If you are upgrading from a Legacy driver, please uninstall it from your system and once again restart when prompted.

2. Download and install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework (3.4 or higher) at Download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 from Official Microsoft Download Center (In some cases, you may need to uninstall the older version on your system).

3. Download and install the latest version of Razer Synapse 2.0 at Razer Synapse 2.0 (PC) - Cloud-based configurator and manager for Razer devices. Click "OK" or "Allow" on UAC (User Account Control) notifications and restart when prompted by Synapse.

If the issue persists, please ensure that the device is plugged directly into your system (back USB ports) and/or try the product on another computer. At the same time try to disable the anti virus software and enable it after the whole process completed."

If anyone else is having this issue, I hope they find this and it helps. Thanks for the help everyone.
