have a big issue with Windows 7. It freezes all the time, multiple times every single day since i've installed.
I'm running x64 Build 7600 with a plenty good enough computer.
It seems to freeze at the most random times for small things, mostly when browsing the internet, doesn't matter which browser i'm using it will freeze randomly while loading a page. Sometimes it will freeze while opening a folder, or picture. And my screen will not wake up after sitting for about a hour or so.

I have the latest motherboard and video card drivers, i put the newest firmware on my Intel SSD, i've updated my Bios, Reinstalled 7 many times.
Also i've pulled the Cmos battery and completely reset my bios, thought that could of helped, but did nothing.
Is 7 not working well with my SSD or what?
Thanks for your help!

Same thing happened to me. But, I was able to pin it down to a faulty wireless card driver. Changing the driver on my Linksys WMP54G made the difference.

When my computer froze, I would be surfing the web, and everything would outright freeze. I could not do anything other than to shut the whole thing down.

Maybe it's a driver issue?

My own experience... I had a bad EVGA card. Returned it to them in exchange for a working one. Solved my problem. But it's possible it could be hardware or driver (as eyc indicated). Did you run memtest? Did you have an OS before 7 on your rig with everything working correctly? Did you look at device manager for driver/hardware issues? Can you upload dump?

I've ran memtest, no errors, been through device manager and everything has a driver.
I've had Xp, vista, and 7 installed on this system, and so far 7 is the only one to have issues.
I just noticed that i get this error before every freeze "Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0"

Edit:
Thanks for trying to help, but i'm done with the freezing. I'm just going to switch back to vista today. Since no one can figure out my issue.
