Hey guys, Thanks for taking the time to read this thread.

I've been having these issues for months and have RMA'd most parts of my system related to it (RAM, Video gard, motherboard, psu) and am out of solutions.

under load, my PC will hang and freeze for 2-40 minutes then go back to working fine, the issue is these hangs happen every 5 minutes or so which means i can't really operate anything.

The Hangs occur most frequently in Starcraft II so I created a minidump of that process for you during a freeze. it's a huge file even compressed though.

the specs:
MSI p45 platinum
intel q8400 core2quad
EVGA geforce 460
corsair XMS2-800 DDR2 RAM
WD cavier green 500gb HD.

I've had this thing tested but the shop says all components are fine, must be the mobo. MSI gave me a bios update but it didn't really help. any other recommendations?

I will post the files when the upload is done.

Here are my solutions to freezing, and an excellent article, which I hope is of some help
Go to search type device manager and look for any yellow warning markers
Download and run malwarebytes, a full scan after you update
Run antivirus scan
Check memory with memtest86
Make sure that you are not over heating.
Try in safe mode; report back if it works properly.
Try a clean boot
Make sure PSU is working properly
If overclocking, restore to original
Test hard drive at company website.
Test in safe mode, does it still happen?
Try with clean boot..

Thanks for the fast reply....

Fresh install running Avast! antivirus, I'm confident a virus is not the issue based on this has occured over 3 installs.
Temps are all remaining in the blue as per speedfan. highest temp is GPU not going over 55C.
Safe mode doesn't seem to have the same issues, but I haven't tried gaming in safe mode.
PSU has been tested by Local shop and is brand new.
No overclocking has been done
Hard drive tested by local shop and given a clean bill of health.

Dmg and PC health check report is provided:

Even if THIS is not a virus problem. Download and run a scan once a week. Trust me, the first time you will find stuff.
Then I would use this rather than speed fan
Core Temp

Follow my first post, if there is a problem you will find it.

So, it's been 4 weeks since my last post, just wanted to provide another update.

I've been dealing with Intel regarding having the CPU swapped via RMA and it's been completed.

I've done all the steps in this thread provided thus far and still nothing. I think this PC might be possessed.
