HI There, I've had a not responding problemnow for 3 months with no joy of getting it fixed. I'm running a 32bit HPdv9000 with Windows 7 and MS office 2010. When I more than 1 MS office program running the program I'm working in stops responding, particularly when I use the curser keys rapidly to move around in a document. If an email comes in through Outlook when I'm working in Publisher or Word Outlook stops responding when I go to open the mail. I have 3GB ram and plenty of HDD - I've tried everything including repair reinstall MS Offfice Malware scans you name it! it seems to be a problem that a lot of Win 7 MS office users are having going by the forums? Any suggestions? The only way i can keep working is continually save my work as I type and to ctrl+shift + esc to close not responding program and start again. Could it be a heat probelm? I've been reading this forum and run a Sae Tools test on both the HDD's - the Short DST test failed on my WD-WXE208e03486 WDC drive? What does this mean? Desperate Keypro many thanks.

Sounds like the Hard Drive is in fault. If it is still in warranty, you may want to RMA the laptop.
