Freezing

Hi

I have Windows 7 64 bit installed at home and on my office pc and when ever I work on a mapped drive over my network it crash's by freezing and I have to reset the pc. When I then try to reopen the file the program then trying to open it ie editplus, dreamweaver will then freeze.

I then have to login via putty move the file and then recreate a new file everytime.

Any help would be appreciated.

first could you fill in your system specs (lower left corner of your posts) so we know what hardware you have (see pipc)

second network-- tell us about your network setup

third-- editplus?, putty?
