So I recently built a new PC and have been getting a ton of BSOD. So many I lost track of all the codes. I had a friend look at the minidmp files and he said it had to do with a conflict between my Wireless adapter and Microsoft Security Essentials. I disabled both and crashes have been less frequent. I would really really appreciate some help. This had been going on for about a week now. I tried reinstalling windows, I did the windows memory diagnostic test, chkdsk. Nothing works. If you need additional info please let me know.

All your Driver Verifier enabled crashes indicate to AsUpIO.sys, ASUS hardware monitoring software related. So better you uninstall those. Uninstall ASUS AI Suite II and see if the situation changes or not.

Let us know the results.

OK I did my best to uninstall everything through the driver program you suggested. It told me that some things could not be deleted from nvidia because i didnt have the full version. I went back in normal mode just deleted everything I could through the control panel.

The latest drivers available to me were from 01-05-13 for my 660 Ti.

Also the latest update I could find for my graphics card is 3.10.90, are you making me get an earlier driver for a specific reason?

OK well I did the windows defender thing and nothing was found. So when i moved on to do memtest86...

It got about 7 minutes into the test and 56% of the way through the first pass and only had about 61 errors, then its just kicked it up and its already up to 200,000 and counting, very rapidly, errors. I have no idea how to read the results so I am just going to let it run.

Ok it got to about 61% of the way done and slowed back down to a reasonable amount of errors. But not before logging 305,920 errors. I think im over my head with this hah. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Now im up to 1 million + errors

OK sorry I didnt click on that link earlier. Well i removed both of my original sticks of 2x8gb RAM and now am trying 4x2gb of RAM. I am almost 60% of the way through the first pass and no errors. I will keep this going for a while. I am not going to go through the trouble of figuring out which stick of RAM was the issue , as they were both bought as a package . And will both need to be returned regardless or which it is. Hopefully this solves things.

Will do, do you have any suggestions on a brand or model of ddr3 RAM that has been the most reliable and best performing? The ones I had were Patriot Viper III , and they obviously failed. Thanks so much for yalls help.

Patriot Viper is not bad at all, and you may get anything good, like corsair.
