Frequent BSOD/reboot - Even when idle

Windows 7 Pro - reinstalled twice.
Dell OptiPlex 745 about 5 years old
OS is a full version ordered via MSDNAA (Academic)

I have tested the RAM and it tested clean. I suspect the video card, but am trying to get confirmation of that. I just can't seem to read the files I need.

BSOD happens often, several times an hour is not unusual.

I'd suspect the CPU is giving you trouble here. Try running each of the three Prime95 tests: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-hardware-stress-test-prime95.html

I don't see any evidence of the video card causing issues, honestly. Although, it's possible the PSU is going, which could possibly show up video card trouble. The error code is for the CPU/RAM, however.
