Hello,

Link to my previous thread: BSoD during gaming, 0xd1

I do not really know what to do. I am getting bluescreens every 2-3 hours now. I had a problem 2 weeks ago which was fixed by a driver reinstall. (I do not think this one is connected to that)
I want to do a clean Windows install, but I do not have anything to save my files to, so I'd rather see if this can be fixed without formating my hard drive.

I will run memtest, prime95, heaven and chkdsk starting now. Will post results.
Malwarebytes have not found any malware.

Error codes: 0x50, 0xa, 0x1000007e, 0x1a, 0x4e, 0x9c, 0x3b, 0x124
Caused by: Ntfs.sys, ntoskrnl.exe, usbaudio.sys, dump_dumpfve.sys, HWiNFO64A.sys, hal.dll, nvlddmkm.sys
Happening during: internet browsing, PC shutdown
Additional notes: Internet browsers are crashing frequently (Chrome and Firefox). Sometimes only shockwave is crashing on Chrome.

After my last BSOD (0x50, ntfs.sys) I seem to have lost some user settings:
Programs like Skype, ObjectDock reverted to default 'factory' settings.

Thanks for the help in advance. Any help is appreciated.

Have you scanned your PC for viruses ?

I see you have Daemon Tools Lite . Uninstall this program . Known to have issues on Windows 7

Once you're done removing the DTL software . Run the program below to remove the driver that is a BSOD causer . If you're not able to click on the Uninstall button go ahead and close the program by clicking the X on the upper right hand side. That comes with Daemon Tools Lite and Alcohol 120%

SPTD|Windows XP/2003/Vista/Windows 7 (64 bit)|

Malwarebytes have not found any malware.

I've not had SPTD installed, someone told me not no install it as it causes BSODs. Anyways, I uninstalled DTL.

EDIT:
CHKSDK:
- yielded no errors

Prime95:
- SUMOUT error right after start on blender.
- Sometimes runs without errors
- yields error even on stock VCore and frequencies

Memtest:
- Lots of errors on first run in Dual Channel mode
- Module1(Single Channel): yields thousands of errors on first run
- Module2(Single Channel): I am currently testing. 1st run, 70% no errors yet.

So it is probably a faulty memory module. At least I hope it is only the memory and the CPU is not involved.

If you have a Dual Channel memory kit and one RAM stick is bad replace both ram sticks even if the other one is good. Purchase a new DC kit. If the memory sticks are still under warranty call the manufacture of the memory sticks and open up an RMA .

I've already replaced them at the local retail shop. Memtest did not yield any errors when testing them in single and dual channel. I am currently testing if I get any bluescreen errors. Will post if I do or mark it as solved if I do not.

Back on the DTL topic: Is it okay to install DTL without SPTD (I've been using it that way for quite some time now) or should I use another software? If I should use another one, what would be your recommendation? What about PowerISO?

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

You may use PowerISO it doesn't need the STPD driver .
