Maybe your processor can't handle the ammount of multiple windows you have open?

try runnning your system with just the 2gig stick in place and see how it behaves, also download and burn to disk memtestx86 and run it from boot overnight to check for RAM errors :)

I was about to look at your crash dumps but I'd definitely rather not assist someone willing to stiff someone on a deal for faulty hardware. That's not cool.

It's annoying but unfortunately RAM can be very particular when matching sticks, given you built the machine yourself presumably you will go back to your supplier for replacements ?

If that's the case I would take back the two single sticks and insist the two single 1gig sticks do not match up with the single 2gig stick and try to get another 2 gig stick which is the exact same spec as the original ...........

I personally try to buy all my ram at the same time of the same make just to make sure it will or at least should match :)

as torrentg says it wouldnt be cool to try resell the 1gig sticks if they are dodgy so it would be best to try just those 2 sticks in your machine and see if they work ok before you get rid of them ?

I'm guessing the mismatch is the combination of the 2gig and 1gig sticks together ??

Sorry, I should make it clear. 2x1G ram are fine when they run together. If I put them with the 2G stick, System crash. It's must be a matching issues.

Also, these Ram come with life-time warranty in HK, worst (for me), I brought them 2 wks ago :(

does the single 2gig stick work without error ?

if that works then maybe sell the 2x1gig sticks and buy another single matching 2 gig stick :geek:
