Hi guys, can anyone please help my problem, I had my PC crashing almost everyday, and several times a day. Please find my attached collection of memory dump & PC Health report.

Thanks very much!

I am on Windows 7 Ultimate x64
- x64
- the original installed OS on the system - Ultimate
- an OEM or full retail version? - OEM
- OEM = came pre-installed on system
- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer

- What is the age of system (hardware)? - newly bought less than 2 months
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Did reinstalled.

95% of the crashes are memory corruption. Let's start off by testing the memory

Please run these tests and report back the results
1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-cpu-stress-test-prime95.html

Thanks a lot for reply. I have done MemTest before. But I tested with both 2 DDR3 (each 4GB) in slot.
Do I need to test them separately? Thanks again.

If you don't get any errors then no. But if you get errors and want to single out the bad stick or bad mobo slot then yes

It failed to enable verifier. I tried a couple of times, when I followed the instruction and rebooted. Windows failed to start. Have to restore. Any hints from this? or any other ways to try? I am so frustrated about this. Appreciate if indeed you can help. Thanks a lot.

Thanks. In general, the BSOD happens randomly. But, there are cases that just after I input the welcome password for Windows 7. it crashes.

Any one important symptom: immediately after blue screen, PC automatically reboot. I don't need to press reset/power button.

and, I am not sure how I can running half drivers?

What you can read from the dump file? Thanks.

It restarts right away because you probably have automatic restart on.

What i meant by running half the drivers is when you enable driver verifier, you select all non-microsoft drivers. Instead of selecting all of them at once, only select half of the non-microsoft drivers, run those for a couple days, and then swap and run the other half that you didn't run the first time.

As for the dump files, they are inconclusive.

Hi Mgorman87, I still can't enable driver verifier. once set up (disable half drivers), OS won't start.

One more thing I tried, disable onboard network adaptor in Device Manager, I experienced more frequent crashes. Any thought on that?

Can you disable the onboard network adapter in your BIOS? Sometimes, that will stop network related crashes.

For Verifier, try running one non-Microsoft driver at a time until you find the driver that causes the crashes. If it is crashing on startup, this method should help you track down the driver so you can post back to us what it is and we can help you remove it or update it.
