Solved frequent/random BSODs for a year

Hi,

Over the past year or two I've been getting frequent and seemingly random BSODs on my laptop, usually the IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or MEMORY_MANAGEMENT errors. I'd reboot, get another BSOD shortly after windows starts or eventually later, then I'd leave the computer off for a month or so and try again. It seems to work for a while then the errors would come back. I tried the earliest system restore point and a clean boot and it's been working for the past few days until I got the errors again today. I've never got a BSOD while in safe mode. I don't use the computer very often (only when I really need it, like now) and it's only been connected to the internet a few times (it's normally disconnected, I use a different computer for the internet). My internet is limited (rural area) and I don't want to connect it to the internet again.

Attached are the dump files, etc. from the SF Diagnostic Tool.

Please help?

Hi orbot.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

If it does not show any error, enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

   Information
Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

   Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

I ran memtest and immediately got many errors, so I removed one ram stick and got zero errors after 8 passes. Restarted computer and haven't got a BSOD for a few hours so far, so hopefully that was the only problem. Many thanks!
