It's funny, it was just edited a few minutes ago. When I posted it, it described how it started because of the government had killed someone on the first Saturday of August, and then the persons friend killed himself the next day Sunday. Someone came along and edited that out just now. :huh:

huh...now they say that wikipedia is knowledge by everyone...what a crock of bull...I would go and change it again...hell if they don't want the truth to come out than delete the article (I believe anyone can do that)

Hi there -- nice idea but shouldn't EVERY DAY be "Friendship day" -- then we could get rid of the Militiary, the Police, security systems etc etc and spend the Trillions of dollars saved on these costs on worthwhile projects that everybody benefits from.

Unfortunately never likely to happen -- I'm no socialist but with Rapacious Banks and markets that operate on the "Fear and Greed" principle we'll just have to make the best of it.

Nice idea though "Friendship Day". :D
