Frontlines: fuel of war is giving me a little headache.
It load for a very long time (over a minute), and the game it self runs very poorly even with low graphic settings.
This is on this system:
CPU E6850 at 3,6 Ghz
4 Gb ram
Nvidia GTX 260 running 185.85 WHQL Windows 7 driver
X-Fi Extreme Music
Samsung F1 1Tb HD.

When the game installed it wanted to install an old version of PhysX (ver 7.0. somewhat), but in system information it still shows as ver 909.02.03, othervice the installation went normally.

Any ideas?

I just installed the game and tested it out. Seems to run about the same as it does on vista 64 which is very smooth. Load times were normal and quick. I'm using the 185.85 drivers on 2 gtx 285's, Win7RC 64bit, Raid 0, i7 etc. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling (if you haven't already) because it should run fine on your set up.

Comcastic!
Reinstalled game, and this time it was complaining about a dx9_38.dll was missing. I downloaded this and put in system32 folder, and now it is running again.

The lesson?? Remember to read the messages that comes up when installing a game :)

You must start the Game and go to the Task Manager under Windows 7. Then you search the Prozess FFOW.exe and turn the Priority to Low and go back to the Game. No lags.
