I have a Fujitus ST4120 and going to use it as my GPS in my jeep for offroading. It has a small drive and I would like to do a clean installation with the bare operating system. What can I trim off the OP system to run my GPS Programs. I want to trim all the non accentuals off the system. Thanks funnnyfarm

Well, I hope you're not suggesting putting a W7 install on there... If I'm not mistaken it has a max RAM of about 800MB?
I would stick to XP tablet edition stuff...It shoul dhave come pre-installed with that and take off anything you don't need?

I have a 80gig hard drive in it. So there is enough space. I just want to try to get the OP to operate with no part of ALL the internet interference. It will never see the internet. I want just enough on the OP to run NG Topo , MapSource , Delorme Topo USA 8.0 . Thanks funnnyfarm

It is your RAM size that worries me, not the HD. Even a light install would take so much mem capacity that something like Mapsource would have a hard time... Depending on the mapsize and detail loaded, ofcourse. Have you checked what the min req's are for each of those programs?
